It's surf season and we are stoked! Join us and our ISA/ILS certified instructors for an intro to surfing freshwater swell! Available as a private 1-on-1, semi-private, or private group lesson.

Lessons are ~90min long and include dry-land and in-water instruction. You will learn:
• Water safety
• Forecasting
• Surf etiquette
• Equipment info/care
• How to paddle/pop up/stand
• How To Catch a Wave

Lessons include all necessary equipment (board + Leash)

Wetsuits (if needed) can be rented for just $40

This Lesson is best for beginners to novice level surfers.

*Prerequisites – students must have basic swimming skills

*Students Under 12 must be accompanied by a parent in the lesson

Please note due to the nature of fresh water surf, we cannot guarantee waves. In the event your surf lesson falls flat, we will proceed with a flat water surf lesson ( very valuable for beginners and loads of fun!).

• Turning Left and Right while riding white wash

• Paddling out to the back water

• Surf etiquette while in the line up

• Catching an unbroken wave

• Board control while dismounting

• Pop up and paddling critique

SUP Lessons are 90min long and are composed of both dryland and on-water instruction where you will learn:

• Water safety

• Equipment info/care

• Proper paddling technique

• Board control (i.e. paddling, turning, accelerating, and decelerating speed)

• A chance to try different types of boards and paddles.

Lessons include all necessary equipment (Paddle board, leash, paddle, lifejacket)

What’s the max number of people you can teach? - we maintain a ratio of 1 instructor to 8 people - for larger groups please contact us
